The WP e-Commerce Plugin for WordPress has launched GetShopped.org a beautiful new community site designed to help users of their famous WordPress software.
As a person that develops e-Commerce sites for my clients I must say I am most pleased with their efforts – the WP e-Commerce Plugin works better then Shopp (has a cleaner interface & runs faster), and it has way more features than eShop, Yak & ShopperPress (there is nothing worse than running your business through a theme!!).
The benefits of the new site are tidy new forums, new video tutorials and nice new documentation (that we’ve been told is still under development and that it will be for the next week or so).
Thumbs up to the guys at Instinct. Or is it GetShopped

Thanks for the update. I really appreciate your insights here, and in earlier posts. I am a little unclear about the name change issue as well. Particularly frustrating is the apparent change earlier(?) from wp-ecommerce to “wp shopping cart” and the resultant wpsc directory changes(?). My real reason for commenting is to suggest joining the new wp-ecommerce developers email list: http://groups.google.com/group/wordpress-e-commerce-plugin/
Hi James. Thanks for your message regarding our Plugin. I follow this site along with many others.
Nobody has changed any names anywhere – WP e-Commerce is still WP e-Commerce.
The ONLY thing that has changed is the home page for WP e-Commerce.
Previously the WP e-Commerce Plugin lived on instinct.co.nz/e-commerce but it deserved a website of its own hence getshopped.org.
The new GetShopped.org website is going to provide a much better experiance for all concerned
